topic 3

Reflection on topic 3
In topic 3 the information that is interesting is the process of positioning to create specific identities to the readers. The norms, value systems and behavior can be constructed in the text to influence the readers. Through this the readers can identify the positioning of the writer and also the text can shaped our understanding of a particular behavior and self-awareness regarding our self. The text constructed the attitudes and behavior of the participants and the readers who judge them. The concept that is difficult to understand is the way to develop the tools readers to make them recognize the key elements of a text. It is hard to discover the key elements in the language to figure out the ideology that in it. Some of the texts maybe appear do not have it own ideology but it can be differ from the surface that we are seen. The approach that I have taken in the reading “Please let me go your school” is to identify any stance that has been taken by the writer. Whether it is supporting the school or condemning it. I also trying to figure out how the participants have been constructed in the text and any key word that can shown it. The difficulties that have been problematic for me is the perspective and ideology that have been taken by the writer. It is hard to figure out the ideology of the writer regarding the issue and also the key terms that describe the stance of the writer is hard to identify. This is because in the “Please let me go to your school” the writer is looks like supporting both of the party. He condemn the school but still he give the school chance to protect them self so the writer stance it is hard to figure out the writer stance.
